Accounting Analyst


Position Summary


New Omni Bank, N.A. has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Analyst at our Alhambra, CA office. Under the direction of the Controller, this position will be responsible for complex clerical and accounting assignments and preparing accounting statements and financial reports.


Seniority Level: Entry


Employment Type: Full Time


Salary Range: $45,000.00 - $55,800.00 depending on education, licensing, and experience

Essential Duties (Duties not limited to those provided here):


Prepare daily balance sheet and income statement

Process accounts payable, check reconciliation, ACH NOC and Return

Assist with Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Prepaid and Accrued Expense reconciliation

Review GL exception items

Process wires

Process bank investments, borrowing, and wholesale deposits

Review cashier department incoming mail

Manage wire transfer log, investment cash position, and block entry adjustment, cash position statement

Assist with generating monthly certifications and audits

Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required

Candidate must be detail oriented and technologically fluent, experience with FIS is a plus

Fluency in a second language preferred but not required
