Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing company in the City of Industry, CA.This position will play a critical role in financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.   • Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update financial and business transaction records regularly.
  • Prepare and review reports to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting data.
  • Assist with journal entry preparation and input.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Perform general office support tasks, including filing and administrative duties.
  • Maintain, verify, and update various ledgers to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Assist with processing invoices, managing payments, and supporting financial operations.
  • Provide support to supervisory and executive staff by performing assigned accounting and clerical tasks.
  • Prepare and provide timely financial information and reports as needed. -Qualifications:
    • Experienced in bank reconciliations, managing multi-bank accounts, and handling inter-account transactions.
    • Knowledge of fixed asset management, including tracking transfers, additions, disposals, and preparing monthly depreciation schedules.
    • Proficient in preparing monthly accruals and adjustments for month-end close.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles with at least one year of relevant experience in accounting, customer service, and office environments.
    • Proficient in Excel and 10-key operations.
