Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
and statutory accounting principles
Oversee general ledger reconciliations and manage monthly and
quarterly closing processes
Support regulatory filings and assist in audits and tax
compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
public accounting experience preferred
Proficient in modern accounting software; experience in Sage
Intacct is highly desired
Strong understanding of statutory insurance regulations and GAAP
principles
Tax experience and CPA Certification are desirable but not
required
