Job Description Job Description Job Title: Battery Test Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Battery Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans for various vehicle systems and components. You will play a critical role in selecting the right instrumentation, instrumenting the vehicle, and ensuring the quality of the data recorded. Responsibilities Conduct vehicle testing on test tracks, public roads, and controlled environments. Analyze test data to identify and diagnose performance issues and defects. Document test results, findings, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner using Jira. Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues. Contribute to the development and implementation of test methodologies and standards. Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in vehicle testing technologies. Essential Skills Strong understanding of vehicle systems and components, including powertrain, chassis, and electrical systems. Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in data analysis tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with automotive testing standards such as SAE. Experience with specific testing methodologies such as NVH, durability, and reliability. Work Environment The role involves working in various environments, including test tracks, public roads, and controlled settings. You will be working closely with engineering, troubleshooting, and using test equipment. The work will require understanding schematics and electronics while following work instructions to develop prototypes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Garden Grove, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
