Typical Responsibilities Responsible for delivering multiple
projects in the IT OT (Operational Technology) portfolio with a
high degree of quality and within scope, schedule and budget.
Directs project planning (scope, schedule, and budget), project
initiation, project execution, and project closure by adhering to
IT standards and processes. Collaborates with IT and TD planners
and project managers to ensure projects and scope of work are
identified in project scheduling system (Project Portfolio Workflow
(PPW) and Project Systems. Manage oversight of the project
portfolio activities on a day to day basis. Maintain project
status, scope, schedule, and financials for all assigned projects,
construction jobs, and engineering activities within Work Manager.
Collaborates with Engineers and management to identify portfolio
projects budget, manage work orders and report and address findings
i.e. variance and year-end budget and identify forecasted budget
from year-to-year based on the General Rate Case (GRC) results.
Responsible for capacity planning, forecasting, and balancing of
human resource needs of project resources needed from business, IT
and suppliers. Communicate with engineers on project milestones
(job packages, work orders, project cost, OD updates) Perform
planning activities and identify synergies amongst projects.
Proactively and independently manages project risks and issues
against project scope, timeline, and budget. Utilizes project
controls to ensure quality delivery of key project artifacts,
including monitoring of quality and project performance metrics.
Conducts and participates in regularly scheduled project team
meetings and Sponsor updates to provide general status on project
deliverables, milestones and overall project work. Provides input
to andor approves project documentation including Project Charter,
Business Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business,
Finance, Engineering, or Information Technology. Seven (7) years of
experience supporting or leading projects or key business
initiatives. Three (3) years of experience managing successful
implementation of projects against scope, schedule and budget.
Three (3) years of experience managing project quality, including
quality assurance, metrics and quality controls. Two (2) years of
professional work experience managing suppliers, service contracts,
project metrics, and contracts to meet IT Operational Technology
project objectives. Desired qualifications Proficiency of Utility
technologiesprocesses associated with utility OT systems, including
EMS (Energy Management System), DMS (Distributed Management
System), or OMS (Outage Management System). Two years of IT
portfolio and customer relationship management experience.
Professional training and certifications consistent with Project
Management including Six Sigma, ITIL, PMP andor Agile or Scrum
certification. Have excellent customer service skills, good oral
and written communication skills
