We are seeking a motivated leader to serve as Vice President -
Strategy & Operations who is passionate about working on the
forefront of value-based healthcare. This person will report
directly to the Chief Growth Officer.

What you'll do:
- Partner with C-suite leadership to develop and execute
strategic and operational initiatives that will drive towards key
business objectives and long-range plans, which include launching
new products, expanding into new business lines, and entering into
new markets
- Work collaboratively with peers in different departments to
ensure the advancement of the organization's strategic and
operational goals
- Serve as a thought leader to our product and engineering teams
as they build out products and features to improve MSO and IPA
operations and other ApolloMed strategic initiatives
- Assume P&L responsibilities for select MSO and IPA business
lines depending on needs of senior management and working with
finance and executive teams to develop annual and quarterly budgets
and growth plans and execute against them
- Hire, coach, mentor, and develop a high performing team of
motivated individuals across our Strategy & Operations and
MSO-related departments to help them succeed
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and special
projects across select MSO, IPA, and CMMI-related business lines
depending on needs of senior management, in collaboration with
shared resources and department leaders throughout the company
- Introduce efficiency, KPI reporting / analytics, and process
improvements so that growth can be sustainable
- Direct the development and implementation of operating goals,
plans, and performance in accordance with the overall company
business plan
- Support post-merger integration planning, management, and
execution efforts
- Implement operational efficiencies to reduce cost without
hindering growth or scale of the company

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor of arts or science
- 7+ years of successful leadership experience in corporate
strategy, operations, strategic finance, management consulting,
and/or other related fields
- Effective leader who is growth-oriented, collaborative,
accountable and results driven
- Skilled operator and people manager who can execute, "roll up
their sleeves," build/lead high-performing teams, improve outcomes,
and meaningfully engage across all levels of the organization
- Strong communicator with the ability to develop and maintain
productive relationships with a breadth of internal and external
stakeholders
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage
multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Bonus qualifications
- Track record of successful leadership in meeting financial
goals; demonstrated understanding of financial statements and the
impact operations has on short and long term budget considerations;
P&L accountability a plus
- Strong analytical approach to managing the optimization of all
contracts and expense overhead
- Inspirational, intuitive leader with a focus on the ability to
work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed and changing
environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
