The department serves the populations of neonates to and including geriatrics. In this seven-laboratory facility, a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures is performed for coronary artery disease, heart muscle function and heart valve dysfunction.The Electrophysiology Laboratory is part of the Cardiovascular intervention Center. In these laboratories, a wide range of invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for regular heartbeat is performed. They are proof of our commitment to creating a dynamic, inclusive environment that fuels innovation and the gold standard of patient care we strive for.--What will you be doing:The Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology Diagnostic is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intra-departmental liaison, education, leadership and patient care management across the health care continuum including preventative care acute care through discharge, and ambulatory care environments.

• Provide care to our Interventional Cardiology patient population in an outpatient setting.
• Responsible for the managing, planning, and coordinating of all aspects of care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Provide consultative services within the scope of service.
• Obtain and perform history and physical examinations.
• Record and interpret pertinent data (i.e., labs, diagnostic studies, progress notes, etc.), including writing orders under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Write progress notes and collate records utilizing the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate ongoing overall patient care with physicians, staff, nursing staff, and other ancillary care providers to ensure treatment plans are implemented.
