As a Clinical Nurse III in our outpatient clinic, you can look forward to using the full range of your professional nursing skills to implement the following duties.

• 
  
• Provide and document direct and indirect patient care services that ensures the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients.
  
• Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures
  
• Administration of medications and therapeutic agents vital to the implementation of the treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care
  
• Observes signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, general behavior, and/or general physical condition
  
• Assess the signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, or general appearance to determine normal versus abnormal characteristics
  
• Plan and implement care based on your observations
  
• Implements appropriate reporting, referrals and care, following standardized procedures
  
• Initiate emergency procedures when indicated
  
• Identify patients' readiness for learning and ability to give instructions and give consent
  
• Provide a safe environment and evaluate efficiency of intervention for patients
  
  Educational Requirements:
  Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (state accredited program)
  Licenses:
  RN license from the State of California
  BLS
  Experience:
  at least one-year acute care experience
  Physical Demands:
  Standing, Walking, Sitting, Lifting 50 lbs. Carrying 50 lbs. Pushing 75 lbs. Pulling 75 lbs. Balancing, Stooping, Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination, Reaching, Handling, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing
