Occupational Therapist Location: Northridge, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,278 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: - Experience with inpatient clinical settings preferred. - Trauma experience preferred. Description: Unit specializes in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Patients treated per day depend on the area assigned. Outpatient settings can have up to 9 patients per day. Inpatient settings can have up to 13 patients per day. Rehab patient volume varies. Occupational Therapists must have passed the NBCOT exam. Electronic Medical Records system utilized is Cerner Powerchart. Rehab aides and support staff are available for assistance. Weekend requirements vary and will be specified in requisitions. Holidays are not required. Uniform includes a maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toe shoes. Lab coats are optional. Coverage may include outpatient and inpatient areas. Shifts may vary depending on the needs. Potential to float to other areas as assigned. Common diagnoses for inpatient include orthopedic, post-surgical, neuro, trauma, and cardiac cases. Speech therapy involves stroke care, TBI, neuro, trauma, cognitive impairments, and dysphagia. Occupational therapy focuses on orthopedic, post-surgical, neuro, and trauma cases. Experience with bedside swallow studies and video swallow studies is preferred for speech therapy candidates. The cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled as specified in assignments.
