Job Description:

A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking to bring on an IT Specialist with experience in Microsoft Office, VBA, Excel Macros, and SQL. Position is located inAlhambra, CA. Position is on a HYBRID model. Duration is 12 months. W2 and Local only. RESPONSIBILITIES: Project support, updating scripts and capturing Oracle database updates for SCADA point naming convention. Lead support in development of tools to maintain standardization efforts. Close coordination with EMS/DSCADA maintenance team members and Infrastructure Engineers for GMS project support. REQUIRED SKILLS: Microsoft Office, VBA, Excel Macros, Excel VSTO, C/C++, SQL, regular expressions (Regx), Linux shell scripting DESIRED SKILLS: Familiarity with Electrical Transmission and Distribution System, Real-time Control Systems, SCADA systems, PLCs, IEDs, substation equipment and technologies.
