Job Description:
The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team
and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the
golf course.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
-Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
-Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain
landscaping on the golf course
-Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment
related to golf course maintenance
-Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground
preparation for restoration and renovation
-Must be dependable
Responsibilities:
-Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and
maintenance facility
-Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
-Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry
areas needing additional water
-Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as
necessary
-Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and
fairways
-Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
-Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
-Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Pay: $15.50-18
