Job Description:

SUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing support to NMM Application Support operations through daily responsibilities and long-term projects associated with the management of various web portal interfaces, including coordination and assistance for multiple Application Support duties and other projects as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBecome familiar with the web portal and provide basic technical assistance and training for online web-based portal system utilizing multiple forms of communication (phone, e-mail, messaging or fax) and internal applications for troubleshootingResponds efficiently to a variety of queries from external entities, including physicians and clinical personnel, in regards to web portal issues or inquiriesMonitors web portal system and enhancement requests on a constant basis, and handles testing of portal updates and modificationsServes as web portal system administrator by verifying, updating, or creating user accounts as requiredManages and coordinates Departmental meetings/queries in conjunction with internal and external personnelPerforms other Application Support duties and responsibilities as assignedQUALIFICATIONSStrong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple projects efficiently; willingness to learn and provide assistance to othersBasic knowledge of the healthcare industry, technical support experience with web-based portal systems preferableDetail-oriented and strong organization skillsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate degree or higher preferred; Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university a plus; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to communicate effectively with others in multiple languages a plusKnowledge of computer, internet, and healthcare terminology a plus#LPIND
